What is iLiveActive.com ?

In an ever-shifting market, iLiveActive.com is focused for better and active lives. We work with licensed physicians to offer telemedicine consultations for ED, HSA-eligible products and easy-to-understand educational resources.

We’re here to maximize consumers long-term health and help ease the financial burden of medical needs.

Is this a legal service?

Yes. Telehealth (formerly Telemedicine) is a legal medical management tool and not a separate form of medicine diagnosis. Telehealth technology is perfectly legal provided that it is used by a licensed physician in the respective state that the patient is accepted.

When is your doctor available?

Our doctors are available from 7 AM to 10 PM. You are able to book an instant consultation, or also a near date in the future.

How does it work?

To get your recommendation you have to sign up and register on www.iLiveActive.com and complete a brief online profile. Upon registering for our service, clients are required to undergo an examination of pre existing medical conditions by one of our team’s physicians. You will meet with a physician for 15 minutes and will be approved.

What is a recommendation?

A recommendation is a document that states that a specific person has a medical condition in which a doctor recommends that they procure medicine to help treat it.

Do you accept insurance?

No, insurance does not cover iLiveActive visits.

Are my records private?

We do not share your information with ANYONE. Your medical records are maintained in our secure HIPAA compliant system. Your health insurance company, employer, or any other entity does not have access to your information. All our data is regularly backed offsite, again with HIPAA compliance. Patient information is the top priority at iLiveActive, and using industry leading software to secure our data keeps your information 100% Private, and 100% Protected. iLiveActive’s software exceeds the standards set by HIPAA on security, encryption, and electronic medical records.

How do I pay for the service?

We accept all major Credit/Debit cards. We do not accept cash payments or medical insurance.

What does "HSA-eligible" mean?

HSA-eligible means that in most cases a product or service will be covered by your Health Savings Account.

Can I still shop if I don't have an HSA account?

We accept all major credit cards and believe in No Shopper Left Behind.

I have an HSA but not able to use my HSA card with your site?

If you don’t have an HSA card, you can print out a receipt and submit it with a claim to your HSA administrator or bank custodian to be reimbursed.

Do you accept insurance?

Most OTC (over-the-counter) products aren’t covered by insurance so there’s no need for insurance plans to process claims for your purchases. For home health products like wheelchairs that might be covered, we recommend you consult your insurance plan first as we are unable to accept or process any insurance.

What’s a Health Savings Account (HSA)?

A Health Savings Account (HSA) lets you set aside tax-free money so you can save on qualified health purchases including OTC (over-the-counter) products, prescriptions, vision health essentials and much more. HSAs are always individually owned, but may be available as part of your benefits package through your employer which will let you set aside pre-tax money from your paycheck to fund it. If your employer doesn’t offer an HSA but you’re enrolled in a qualified High Deductible Health Plan that’ll let you participate in one, you can open your own through most major banks. Some HSA-eligible items include KT Tape, sunscreen, and copays. Eligible items and services include those that diagnose, treat, mitigate, prevent or cure a medical condition or function of the body. Account holders can either use an HSA card for their purchase or use their own debit card and submit receipts with a claim for reimbursement. There may also be additional options depending on the HSA administrator or bank custodian, like the ability to transfer funds to your own bank account for reimbursement or to write yourself a check.

Will my order be subject to sales tax?

For orders subject to sales tax:

We’re required by law to collect sales tax on orders shipping to addresses in these states: Alabama, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nebraska, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Washington, Washington DC, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. The tax applied to your order will be the combined state and local rate for the zip code where your order shipped.

For self-reporting state sales and use tax:

We don’t collect sales tax on orders shipping outside of the above mentioned states. However, just because we don’t collect and aren’t required to collect sales tax in other states, doesn’t necessarily exempt you from paying a sales or use tax in your state. A purchase is not exempt merely because it was made online or other remote methods. In particular, the states of Colorado, South Dakota, Oklahoma, and Vermont require the reporting and payment of use tax for out of state untaxed purchases.

For more information on how to file use tax returns, please visit your state's tax website:
